Vocus is investing in major infrastructure projects to support the growth of the Pilbara region. Vocus will deliver Project Horizon, a new 2,000km fibre backbone from Geraldton to Port Hedland, and the Darwin-Jakarta-Singapore Cable (DJSC), a new 1,000km submarine connection to ensure the Pilbara region has the fibre internet capacity required.
These projects will deliver new competition, capacity, resilience, and security for Government and Enterprise customers in Western Australia. Plus, they will also enable access to hyperscale datacentres in Singapore and attract datacentre investments to Australia's West and North.
